Today starts a weekend alone for me. Anna's off with one of her best friends visiting her best friend's grandparents. I miss Anna. Man, I'm glad that neither of us travels too much for work. I don't know how you guys who need to can do it! Luckily I had a lot of work to do around the house and for my job, so I kept pretty busy. We'll see how the rest of the weekend goes.
I've been having more and more people at work ask me if I've lsot weight. Man, that feels great, huh? I know I've lost a lot, but when I start to tell people, and see their jaws drop, it's pretty fun. Good emotional boost for me. (Though, I'm not doing this for compliments--I'm doing it for my health and so I can enjoy my life with Anna and our extrended families. But the kudos sure are nice!)
Here's the wrap-up for the week:
Friday:
1- 30 minute session on the Elliptical
1- 15 minute session on the Treadmill
1- 5 minute session on the Stairmaster
1- DVD Workout (These are miserable, but man I love them! I won't let myself wait until the end of the week to do these again.)
30 sit ups
Read the Bible
Prayed
Total:
5- 30 minute sessions on the Elliptical
5- 15 minute sessions on the Treadmill
5- 5 minute sessions on the Stairmaster
2- DVD workouts
3- 3 mile walks
210 sit ups
3 sets of 2- 60 second planks
Read the Bible
Prayed
Went on a date with Anna
Remaining:
Nothing! Nada!
Next Week’s Goals:
5- 25 minute sessions on the Elliptical
5- 15 minute sessions on the Treadmill
5- 10 minute sessions on the Stairmaster
2- DVD workouts (hopefully with Anna)
3- 3 mile walks
210 sit ups
3 sets of 2- 60 second planks
Read the Bible (I want to wrap up Acts this week)
Prayed
Go on a date with Anna
You might have noticed (though you probably didn't) that I've changed up my workout a little bit. I'm increasing my time on the Stairmaster and lowering it on the Elliptical. Nothing against the Elliptical--it was my first machine, and I'll always have it in my routine--but I burn roughly 80% more Calories per minute on the Stairmaster, so I figured I'd switch it up a bit. We'll see if I survive! :)
God Bless you and your journeys!

Beej, congrats on achieving all your goals for the week. That is highly commendable! I hate to hear Anna is gone for the weekend, but it might give you a chance to get caught up on some things.
I have found it funny how the comments about weight loss tended to come in. I lost 40 pounds before I really started getting comments on the weight loss. In fact, I have just now had some people who have noticed. I have to ask myself if they are blind! Like you, I sure enjoy the remarks from others, but more than that I love to see the dropped jaw look when I run into someone I haven't seen in a year or more.
