The Night Before

So, tonight is the night before I leave to Las Vegas for the weekend for my brother's bachelor party. We don't have a ton planned, but 8 or so 30-somethings should be able to have a bunch of fun. I'll be taking part in almost everything--other than the strip club (yee-uck).

I have three goals for this trip:
1. Have a good time and make sure my brother does, too
2. Get some dedicated exercise in (at least the rest of my walking/running in)
3. Don't go crazy with the eating--but do have fun.

Thoughts? How do you not gain while visiting Sin City??

I've not really had a problem in Las Vegas with gaining weight. There are lots of good options for eating. Every where you turn there is a buffet. That is, of course, where you have to be careful. As long as you stick to quantities you can eat, you will be fine.

Enjoy yourself. BTW, I'm proud of you to read you aren't going to pollute yourself at a nasty strip club.

Have a great time in Vegas. I was there about a million years ago...actually 15 and I had a lot of fun.

If you don't want to go, I guess you just have to make the choice with every meal you order...or not. I am going away soon and the food in Quebec City is supposed to be phenomenal.

Just try to walk a lot and get some swimming in. That should help.
