Today was another success!
I fasted for the day (pretty much my only day to do so, since I have lunch plans tomorrow and I donate blood on Thursday, which pretty much eliminates Friday as well. That went well.
And I got a nice medium-length run in: 4.15 miles. And I did it in 37:30. That's about 6.6 miles per hour; a 9:00 mile pace. If I do that on Saturday, I'll be super happy!
For dinner, I met some friends at Tutta Bella, a great Neapolitan Pizza joint in Seattle. Of course, that made me think of our Italy trip, and I had to order the Marinara Pizza and a Peroni Beer. Here are the comparison pictures. I'd say they're pretty close! Of course, on the Tutta Bella pizza, there are anchovies, so that's different, but still...
So, the sauce in Seattle was more red and the crust wasn't as blackened. The pizza was still delicious, but not as amazing as the one in Naples. But come on, what can be, right?! I mean, the Naples pizza experiences during a vacation, and I was all wrapped up in the experience. But for Seattle, 1/2 way around the world? Yeah, it'll do!
Tomorrow will be Pho for lunch and some braised BBQ pork sandwiches for dinner. Yum!

Oh man I miss Seattle and her pizza. I may just have to drive up there and spend the day eating at all my favorite places.
I missed saying congrats on the weigh in a few days ago.
CONGRATS!
We're both running on Saturday (sound to narrows for me). Here's to getting some good numbers!!!
