Yup, that's right! I rolled a 2 today. Really? I didn't roll yesterday, so this was the first chance to see this new plan in action, and I guess I get to put this into action today. So here's my first weigh-ini of this new 10-week program. We'll see how it goes.

Hi Beej, I kind of like your roll of the die idea! It's philosophically very interesting. It takes away all your ability to "plot" for a successful weigh-in on the scale, yet in a way holds you much more accountable at every single moment, because you never know when that weigh-in will come (so you can't say, oh it's Monday, I can eat this today b/c I'm not weighing in until next Sunday). Me likey!
Moreoever, I would just say that long term weight loss is about doing whatever works for you. If this is a tool that gets you where you need to be now, then go ahead on. If/when your needs change down the road, you'll put this tool down and fashion another one. But I really like your idea and may be borrowing it myself soon.
