My Hot 100 Goals

I'm getting excited about the Hot 100 this year.  In creating my goals, I thought about last year's event.  And last year I had like 8 of them.  And it got a little tough to complete all of my goals each week.  So now, I limited my goals.

The first one is to have 30 minutes 3 times a week with God.  This is in addition to my reading the Bible and praying--it's just stepping it up a bit.  It's making sure I have a more intimate relationship with Him.

The second goal is to walk/run 175 miles. At the beginning of the year, I made a goal to run/walk 500 miles.  These miles will help complete that goal.

Next, I want to commit to no eating after posting my Calorie total.  Although I do a pretty good job (when I'm intentional) about my eating, I still sometimes eat after I post my Calorie total; then I have to add those Calories to my next day's amounts--but that ends now.

I love food!  Yes, it used to be in an unhealthy way, but now, I'mlearning to make creative, healthy, and tasty dishes.  But I would like to keep coming up with more good recipes.  SO, to do that, I'm going to develop & post 1 recipe a week.  The first one will be up shortly: 3 Bean Quick Chili.

And lastly, I want to make sure I am being the husband that Anna would like.  This does go with my relationship with God and my healthy activities.  But I want it to be more than that.  So, I've asked her to make a list of 20 things she'd like to get done around the house.  And I will get 1 item done on the "Honey-Do" list a week

What do you think of my goals?  I'm really excited to complete these!

I really like that "Honey-Do" list. What a great idea! Maybe I'll make up a list too for the b/f, and ask him to do them by the end of the year. Good luck on your goals Beej, but then again..I'm pretty sure you don't need luck!

Those sound like excellent goals! I think I should add my Bible study group to mine. Having a teething baby gives me lots of excuses not to go but I need to just suck it up and be there each week. I can't wait to get started on this Hot 100 with you all. Your weight loss is awesome! I know you can achieve your goals. Look how much you have achieved so far.

Found you through the Hot 100. I enjoyed catching up on some of your posts. Love your goals! I like that you're approaching it in many aspects of your life. I am inspired by them all, but I know I could make a goal to do something like that for my husband too. It would make him happy and make me feel like a better wife. Good for you, and thanks for the idea!
