Nada

Not much to say tonight.  I didn't get a run or a ride in.  We had another window presentation, and it was for a "recovery" pitch, since the first guy was an hour late and wasn't any good.  This time it was the owner...and she wasn't that great...and she was here for 3+ hours...and she was over 1/2 an hour late!  Way to redeem your own company.  Sheesh.

Have you ever purchased new windows?  How was your experience?

  My Journey To Sanctification

IMHO...the salesmen(women) that come to your home are usually less than reputable. Do some research and find out which windows in your area have stood the test of time and have a great reputation in defending your home against the weather in your area. Pella Windows and Andersen Windows are the best here, but I don't know if they are sold in your area. You'll pay dearly for them, but they will last for many, many years. Have fun writing that check! ;)

I've only gotten one window installed. It cost a lot of money. Can't imagine what it cost to do a whole house. I say don't trust anyone who is more than 15 minutes late (unless they call with a valid excuse).

I have never bought windows, but we need to now. I don't look forward to that at all.

Try Champion...I think they are a little spendy up front, but great warranty...even if someone throws a baseball through the window ; )
