On track

Okay, I'm back on track.  Well, not as much as I'd hoped, but I'm happy to report that I rode 9.5 miles today.  In about 33 minutes.  If I can do that pace, I'll be okay for the Tri.  Tomorrow, I'll knock off either the running or swimming portion.

And, for those of you on Twitter, my Achilles Tendon is starting to feel better.  It's still tight, but I know it'll be okay.  But I may take it easy on the stair stepper tomorrow...Don't want to mess up my body before the big race in 2-1/2 weeks.

Oh, and I swear I've found my next food addiction:

I love Mission Extra Thin Yellow Corn Tortillas because they have only 40 Calories--so I can have 5 of them and that's only 200 Calories.  And they taste pretty dang good, too!!    Wednesday:

Yay to getting back on track!

I would love to try these corn tortillas. I only see flour ones here and I can't eat those. I will have to keep my eyes open.

Have a great day!

Where does one find those tortillas? I use them for breakkie as a bread replacement (tortillas, I mean) but the lowest cal I've found are Whole Foods organic ones that are 3 for 150 cals. I don't eat 3 for breakkie, but if I can shave off 10 cals, I'll take it! Can't wait to hear about your tri competition. That's awesome. Good luck! And in case you are really worried Beej, I can promise you the BF and I aren't mysterious spies. LOL!! Would that it were so... we're just your garden-variety folk, me with a healthy does of typical NY neurotic behavior that's started to rub off on him (hence the safety deposit box drama). If only we were something more exciting and exotic! Then I'd probably be skinny. I feel fairly sure that on of the spy requirements is a svelte figure. sigh......

Extra thin? how do they hold up to folding etc, or do you recommend keeping them flat? The would be great for baked tortilla chips.

Be very careful with injuries, take good care of yourself!

I haven't seen the corn tortillas either, although I like the wheat tortillas better. I generally try to avoid them anyhow, but they are nice every once in a while.
