Wine Tasting

How did the wine taste?  I have no idea--but the people who tried it seemed to really enjoy it.    Instead, I ate some cheese and crackers and some marcona almonds.  And drank water.  Our meetings seemed to go well, too.  We'll see if we land this huge client.  It would be fun to work on the account.  (Sorry, can't say any more--confidentiality).

One thing I've noticed is how many people out there in our weight-loss get healthy community are struggling right now.  I won't call everyone out, but it's got to be like 9 or 10 people.  And me.  Not sure why.  A lot of us are still going through the motions, but it seems like our hearts just aren't in it.  (Well, mine wasn't, but it's back now!!).  So I guess just think about who you know in the community who is struggling and go encourage him/her.  Even if you are struggling yourself, just talk it out, you know?

Oh, and Jen over at Prior Fat Girl is hosting a contest for Subway gift cards.  I've been wanting to try their breakfast sandwiches, and maybe I will when if I win.  Oh, and she got to meet Jared!

I have noticed alot of struggling too, spring fever maybe? I think people allow for struggles at the holidays and think its easy the rest of the time and that honestly only makes it harder, if it's supposed to be a struggle I can work against that but when it's supposed to be easy and it's not it must be me, something like that.

Well done on the wine!

I've noticed the struggling, too. Myself included. I seem to be turning the corner with my mindset, so I'm feeling back on track. You're definitely right about encouraging one another - an easy way we can help one another out!

You've been such an encouragement and butt kick to me. Is it my turn to kick you squarely in the batookis?

(I'll call you out . . . don't think I won't! ha ha ha!)

You're doing great from what I can see! Going through the motions is better than stopping all together. The mind-game is hard, but sometimes it's just remembering why you got into it in the first place.

You can do eeeeet!!

Beej, you are talking to me in this post for sure. I have been struggling since the end of last year. I am pleased to report that I haven't really gained much, but I sure am not making any progress.

That's awesome that you got to visit with the (possibly) new client Beej!! How fun!
