My back seems much better!  I still walk a little weird, but there are no spasms anymore!  In fact, I was able to go through my workouts with no problems (other than being super tired).  I think that tomorrow, I'll be able to do a great long walk.  And I have some New Year's Day Resolutions.  That's right.  Not resolutions for 2010.  These are resolutions for January 1st, 2010:

  1. Run a 5k on New Year's Day.  Pretty much I'll just take a route that's 3.1 miles--and walk run it!  Then I'll post my time (and maybe my route, too).
  2. Take part in my city's Polar Bear Dip.
  3. Enjoy lunch at a 2-for-1 Sushi Place.
  4. Seriously, finally, create a budget with Anna.  Seriously.
Anyone else?  Any New Year's Day Resolutions?

Also I found another great blogger: Seth Simonds.  His voice is great, and his method for charting his loss is really interesting.  I'm not going to go into too much detail, since it's a lot of fun to read.  Seriously, go check it out!

Glad your back is feeling better.

Do people ever tell you that you look like someone famous? I thought of you the other day when I was watching a movie. I want to know if other people think the same thing I do.

Love your January 1st list! Polar bear dip...you gotta be kidding me. Sounds very cold!

You might want to run the 5K right after to warm up.

Good luck on the budget. Make it as simple as possible. Don't get too fancy!

Polar Bear dip? Are you crazy? :-) More power to you!

Great resolutions for the day - good luck on the budget. That is on my agenda today and tomorrow.
