Date Night

Date night was great. My boss let me leave an hour early so that I could surprise Anna at work. So, I picked her up, and we were on our way to have pho. But then we both said that we didn’t really want pho. Instead? Yeah, we shared popcorn and an ICEE while watching Surrogates. The movie was okay (lots to think about in terms of faith and spirituality), and “dinner” wasn’t healthy. That being said, we shared a medium (I used to demand that we got a Large—and maybe a refill, too!). So I didn’t over eat. A win. After the movie, we went to a local frozen yogurt place and shared a small original with sliced almonds and diced peaches. So good. I love sharing food with Anna.

Friday:
1- 30 minute session on the Elliptical
1- 15 minute session on the Treadmill
1- 5 minute sessions on the Stairmaster
2- DVD workouts with Anna
1- 3 mile walk
30 sit ups
Read the Bible (finished Luke)
Prayed
Go on a date with Anna

Total:

5- 30 minute sessions on the Elliptical
5- 15 minute sessions on the Treadmill
5- 5 minute sessions on the Stairmaster
2- DVD workouts with Anna
1- 3 mile walk
210 sit ups
2- 60 second planks
Read the Bible
Prayed
Go on a date with Anna

Remaining:
3- 3 mile walks

Next Week’s Goals:
5- 30 minute sessions on the Elliptical
5- 15 minute sessions on the Treadmill
5- 5 minute sessions on the Stairmaster
3- DVD workouts (hopefully with Anna)
4- 3 mile walks
210 sit ups
4 sets of 2- 60 second planks
Read the Bible
Prayed
Go on a date with Anna

The DVD workouts was great this week, but it feels like I cheated a little bit (when I said two workouts, I didn’t know that each DVD consisted of 3 workouts). So this time, when I say it’s a workout, I mean that it’s for the length of the DVD, so about 3 “sessions” per workout. Does that make sense?

I am glad you got in a date night. There is nothing like surprising our spouses that way. It sounds like you two had fun.

The goals for the week look good too.

Have a blessed day!
